The chapters are pleasantly short and you do get to know a group of characters deep enough to make connections. There is never any confusions even though the heavy load of information at times. We get to follow a lot of characters but Strandberg keeps it clear and easy. Don’t know why that surprises me but there it is. When starting the book, I did not have high expectations and in the end I was actually was pleasantly surprised.
